Why these quotes?
Each of these travel quotes speak to me, as some probably have to you. They are all different and all unique but they put me in the right mindset to live life and not idle by. We love to travel, my husband and I have traveled for the past 25 years together. Our son who is now 4 did slow us down for several years, not completely but for us it felt like a standstill. He is now beginning to love many of the things we do, hiking being one exception. We love walking, he apparently does not. So most trips we do with our son a few without.
My top 2 travel quotes and why
We love being together as a family and being able to show our son new things along the way. It makes trips we have already done seem like its the first time we’ve been there. Being parents sometimes is challenging, but watching their eyes glow at the sight of new things is not one of those challenges.
#21 She’ll be there until she runs, some just have to chase the sun. This travel quote reminds me of how much I love the sun. If you know me, you know this is true. I could sit in my yard for hours just letting the sun hit my face. The warm glow makes me feel so good, it reminds me to slow down and enjoy the little things. This quote is my reminder as is the sun itself.
#16 If you think adventure is dangerous, you should try routine its lethal. This quote particularly makes me laugh a little because I do like routine. Again, if you know me its true but this one challenges me to move forward and do new things always. Routine can be lethal if you let it. You get comfortable and situated and happy (not necessarily a bad thing) and you lose sight of the need to travel and explore new things. Routine is wonderful, but it can be wonderfully lethal if you let it,
So now you know why my top 2 are my favorites, maybe you can choose one or two that speak to you! Be that girl or guy that chases the sun and never slows down!
Now onto items you will want to take!
Top of my list is a fanny pack or for better terms a money holder, passport holder and phone of course. DAITET on Amazon has a fantastic one definitely budget friendly at $11.99, and makes life hands free as you travel. You will want this I promise. Here is your link!
Coming in at #2 for me is a travel ready first aid kit, because let’s all be serious here I am a little clumsy without being out in the wilderness. This one is on the smaller side (80 pcs) but contains anything and everything you would need for small or minor cuts and scrapes. I also want to recommend that if you use an epi-pen this is a great thing to place with this for travel. You don’t want to be in a remote place without the necessary essentials. Here is you a link to the one I carry not only for travel but in my car (again my son is as dangerous as his Mama)
#3 on my list is a simple thing but huge if you forget it. Bug Bands!! We buy them in a pack of 10 so we have plenty as we travel. The mosquitos really like my husband, he must taste better than me. These particularly are organic and deet free. Obviously, you may choose another brand or a different pack but these work great for us. Here you go!
#4 is for you women! Deodorant wipes! I know when we are out hiking or in the hot sun I get sweaty and sometimes packing 45 lbs. along with me these are necessary! So ladies here are the perfect wipes!
Last but definitely not least is the selfie stick that we all need to get those perfect photos! I know these sometimes seem silly but they are a lifesaver in the right situations! You want to capture the moments, and this little handy tool helps so much!
